Flightcare has a full handling licence for Brussels National Airport. At your disposal is a modern and totally redesigned 40,000 m2 warehouse, including an automated storage system with a 350-pallet capacity. Direct tarmac access and fully automatic pallet transportation are just two of the features that enable us to assure smooth and efficient handling of all freight and mail.

Mail is handled in a dedicated area of the warehouse and is supported by a tailor-made, state-of-the-art EDP system.

For airfreight, speed is key. Flightcare's express service allows you to deliver last-minute shipments that flow seamlessly through our network. Accelerated document treatment guarantees accurate delivery.

Flightcare owns the sole vault at Brucargo. We look after valuables by guaranteeing secured and speedy handling, and providing bulletproof vehicles and other specific security measures.

Shipping dangerous goods such as chemicals and radioactive substances by air requires professional handling by both carrier and shipper. In view of the strict and constantly changing legislation, all DGR checks are performed by IATA-licensed staff. Beside special storage facilities for all DGR, a special bunker for all RRY has been constructed at Flightcare premises.

As part of a full service, Flightcare offers extended cargo handling activities. The in-house customs agency clears all Comail, personal goods and commercial shipments. If required, Flightcare can be the legal representation for any forwarding within Europe.

In order to provide a full-scale handling service, Flightcare provides trucking services. A trucking network has been recently set up for several well-known carriers. All major European destinations are offered in order to ensure smooth distribution of all freight throughout Europe.

Different types of perishable goods, such as fresh meat, vegetables, flowers and medicines, have their own ideal temperatures for transport and storage. Temperature control is the single most important factor in guaranteeing the fresh arrival of perishable goods.

That is why Flightcare provides sophisticated cool rooms equipped with a fully automatic transport system and separate cooling facilities. The cool room site is an official Border Inspection Point for human consumables. With automatic tarmac access, the site is currently being extended from 350 m² to 900 m². The rise in capacity enables Flightcare and its customers to store more ULD's in cool boxes with separately regulated temperatures.

The recently renovated animal care premises comply with the highest EC standards and are designed to accommodate all kinds of animals. There, experienced IATA-trained attendants look after all live animals in transit. A veterinary inspection office is located on Flightcare premises; all quarantine and inspection facilities have been foreseen. Flightcare has the only Border Inspection Point for live animals and non-human consumables at Brussels National Airport.

Flightcare works with fully automated ULD-transportation, thanks to its modern, totally redesigned 40,000 m2 warehouse and automated 350-pallet capacity storage system. From the moment freight is packed on pallets or in containers, all transport is automated until the unit is loaded onto the aircraft. Imports - in warehouse or cool rooms - are treated the same way. Document control and ULD-inventory is performed according to IATA-standards and customers' desires.

Full freighter handling is one of our core businesses. Our specialised and flexible teams operate all required equipment. Dedicated aircraft rotation teams are trained on loading procedures, such as lashing and spreading cargo of various shapes, sizes and weights, and are experienced in handling almost any full freighter on the market.
